- Let entrepreneurs into Cuba, keep the tax low and watch the economic explosion happen. Whenever there are more jobs than workers the wages and benefits are driven upward. That's because entrepreneurs compete for a limited supply of workers. Those who lose the competition will not be as successful because they can't grow without more laborers. Finally, the first modern society on the planet will be populated by people who are neither slaves to the pharaohs of industry nor government. Cuban workers will have the best job security in the world!
It's always easier to talk about what someone else should do in another country. When you address problems, it hits a nerve and people take offense. America is a mess right now, and everyone wants to pretend everything is fine. It's much easier to blame one person, than expose the entire government. People don't want the responsibility of taking care of themselves either.
ReplyDeleteSorry for the rant. As you know, I'm a political artist as well. It's not easy saying things people don't want to hear. Also people assume you're either Republican or Democrat, they get mad when you don't fit into a category.
I enjoyed your work. Several of them made me laugh. You're right about the solutions for Cuba and you're right about the collectivists here screwing things up. Keep up the good work. I'd love to get some feedback on mine. We may not agree on everything, but any feedback is good.
